Senior Amanda Klohmann Receives Mizzou '39 Award

Every year the Mizzou Alumni Association Student Board honors the top 39 graduating seniors for their academic achievement, leadership and service to the University and community. This year is the 7th annual Mizzou '39 class, chosen in the month of February, the same month (in 1839) when Mizzou was founded. The Mizzou '39 class was officially revealed to the University on February 13th with a candelight ceremony. The students were also announced at the Mizzou basketball game vs. Texas Tech and attended a banquet at the Alumni Association Center this past Saturday night.

Amanda is a convergence journalism major from St. Louis, Missouri. She is pictured to the left with her parents. Along with being a former Delta Gamma president, she has also been a DG Homecoming liaison, Vice President of Social Standards and Director of Lectureship. Outside of DG Amanda is a part of Omicron Delta Kappa Tap Day Society, the Mizzou club soccer team, is current Greek Week Steering Committee member, and last summer had an internship in New York City with Time Inc. We are so proud to have one of our own Delta Gamma's receiving such an elite award. Congrats Amanda!
