DG supports the Cedar Creek Riding Center during Greek Week '11!

The University of Missouri's Greek Week is service-based. While we all love the games, fling performances, and the blood drive (ok maybe not the needles, but we do like the good feeling of giving-back you get after donating) - the true heart of Greek Week is the good work done by all of Mizzou's Greek students.

During the first liaison meeting representatives from Delta Gamma, Delta Tau, Delta and Theta Chi were able to pick a beneficiary that all of the service work and money raised by the grouping would go towards. We are excited to announce that during the 2011 Greek Week, Mu Chapter will be supporting the Cedar Creek Therapeutic Riding Center!

Cedar Creek Therapeutic Riding Center has been providing horseback riding therapy to people with disabilities in the mid-Missouri area since 1988. Cedar Creek serves more than 100 people per year with all types of disabilities and relies on hundreds volunteers to operate.

Money raised will go toward scholarships for handicapped individuals to receive therapeutic riding treatment. Furthermore members of our pairing will also spend time volunteering at the center.
