The MedZou Clinic is competing in the Pepsi Refresh Project for a chance to win a $50,000 grant. The grants are going to help fund great ideas around the U.S. If they win, MedZou will use the money to purchase imaging equipment.
MedZou is a free community health clinic in Columbia totally operated by Mizzou medical and pre-med students. It provides care free-of-charge to residents of Columbia who can't pay to see a regular physician or who don't have insurance. Because MedZou is in no way funded by the university, money from donors and grants are how MedZou is able to keep an open clinic. To be awarded this grant, MedZou needs support from the students of Columbia. You can vote for MedZou every day in the Pepsi Refresh Project competition.
