DG house construction.

At Mu Chapter it doesn't matter if you are an alum or a new member - there is always one love we all share, the love of our beautiful chapter house! It may be old, but there is no other house on campus that competes with it. This summer the house and annex will be going through the first of a series of updates to install a fire sprinkler system to bring it up to code and make it safer for future generations.

And there is good news to report! The sprinkler system being installed in the annex is running ahead of schedule. There are still some finishing touches to be made, but the City of Columbia has given the project the 'a-okay.'

We have to give a huge THANK YOU to Mu's House Corporation: Merrill Horner, Lindsay Holland, Danielle Hohmeier, Karen Coker, Karla Diaz, Katie Lampitt, and its fantastic president, Kathy Cox (If we are missing a member please comment below). This project is a huge undertaking and the group is leading Mu Chapter through it amazingly, without them this project would be daunting. Check out some of the pictures of the installed sprinklers in the annex below.
