Homecoming Blood Drive - how you can help!

Dear Alumnae and Friends,

On behalf of the Mizzou Alumni Association and the American Red Cross we would like to ask for your support and participation in the 25th Annual Homecoming Blood Drive. The Homecoming Blood Drive not only supports the University of Missouri but it is also a chance to help individuals in need. Each unit of blood collected at a drive helps approximately 3 people and serves hospitals that are currently without needed units of blood.

This year the Red Cross and Mizzou Alumni Association celebrate a partnership 25 years strong. Homecoming is an opportunity for Mizzou Alumni to celebrate Mizzou’s spirit of service and give back to the community. Over the past 25 years, Mizzou’s blood drive has consistently been one of the largest student-run Blood Drives in the nation.

The Homecoming Blood Drive will be held in Columbia, MO from October 11th- 14th at the Hearnes Center. If you are unable to return to Columbia for the blood drive you can still support Mizzou through our Satellite Blood Drive locations. You will have 25 days to donate at one of our satellite drives, from September 23 through October 17th. Please refer to the below list for a Satellite Blood Drive location near you.

Once again, we appreciate your time and energy spent donating to this charitable cause. The Mizzou Alumni Association thanks you for your support in helping us maintain our status as the nation’s largest blood drive.

Sincerely, Lucy Rusk - Delta Gamma Homecoming Blood Drive Liaison
